So I’ve a hypothetical question for you. If you read this then I’d like for you to answer in a comment. If your answer is “I don’t know” that’s ok. If you’re not sure I’d still like to hear why you’re not sure, or what’s going through your head. I will post my opinion after a few days or so. So anyways, here it is…

Imagine that there’s a large crowd of a hundred people in front of you. All of them are going to die. You have two options. You have a choice to save one person or the other ninety nine. Here’s the catch… If you save the 99 then they will all go about their lives and live like nothing ever happened… and their lives would be meaningless and with no purpose. If you save the one then he will live his life to the fullest with great meaning and purpose. So the question is who do you save? …the ninety nine or the one?

So who will I save? Well my answer might vary a little overtime, but if I had to choose right now, then it would be this… One life well lived is better than a thousand wasted. I would choose the one.

My take on Evangelism…
It does us no good for the kingdom to simply go around and “win” converts. Christ said, “As you are going… make disciples…” I think having one disciple is far better than ninety nine pharisees . Think about this too… if we have ninety nine people walking around and not living it out they’re really going to make Christians look bad, and unfortunately a lot of people mix up Christians with Christ, or religion with God. If we really live like Christ and invest in other people by making disciples, then over time peoples perception would change. We would become a people who everyone would look at and wonder. And the kind of growth we would have through this process would be exponential. If you invest in three people every year and then each of them does the same thing… just image the possibility! May you invest in others and may we rejoice for those who live life to it’s fullest. Go… and make disciples. Go… and build the kingdom. Go… and restore the name of Christ.
