I love reading blogs posts and articles that I don’t agree with from time to time, because it helps me to defend what I believe, and reinforce my views. One of the blogs that I read constantly likes to put down Christian leaders that he disagrees with. He’s not very big on building the body of Christ but rather tearing it down. He’s a lot like a modern pharisee in many ways. He just posted a critique of a chapter from my favorite book. In his post he says, “I say back to Hell with this lunacy in the Lord’s Name!” Yeah… way to be a Christian right? My question is how do we go about confronting people like this? How do we confront people who are closed minded and insist that there way is the only way? We want to say they’re wrong, but they’re still a part of the body. If we get mad at them then we’re dropping to there level. How do we show them the love of Christ yet stop them from tearing down the body? It does far more damage than good to argue among ourselves. I’ve often wondered how we solve this problem, and I really don’t know. What are your thoughts?
